In partnership with the world’s best rehabilitative healthcare institutions, the IAMC will have a 300-bed rehabilitation hospital. This hospital will also be a teaching hospital for the health sciences university. The hospital will have a local Saudi operator and a board overseeing operations, which will include top international partners. In addition to building the hospital, the IAMC will help adapt and improve rehabilitative healthcare delivery models designed specifically for the Saudi marketplace but using best-in-class practices developed by the IAMC’s international partners.

The rehabilitation hospital, its processes, and clinicians will be focused on creating significantly improved patient outcomes by transitioning patients through a continuum of care based on their initial clinical diagnoses and functional abilities. IAMC will create a knowledge transfer program for Saudi clinicians designed to institutionalize the standard of rehabilitative care across the Kingdom. 

The partnership between IAMC and its international partners will bring the implementation of methods, processes, and procedures that will be adapted to Saudi Arabia and be the best in the Middle East. This valuable intellectual capital will be taught to Saudi clinicians at the hospital and outpatient clinics.

Although IAMC’s partnership with international partners will bring best-in-class intellectual capital, developing and implementing a rehabilitative healthcare model specific to Saudi culture is a critical success factor in creating sustainable processes. To accomplish this goal, the IAMC program will integrate local Saudi expertise to ensure any approach aligns with the local market. We intend to work with the Ministry of Health, JCI, and other certifying and accrediting bodies to ensure alignment while working with existing institutions to continuously improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.
